Confirmed this is a scam. Law firms seem to be aware. They recommend you read the 'Disclaimer' section. On the notice I received, the DISCLAIMER section reads: "Corporate Compliance Services is a Non-Government publisher...This service has not been approved or endorsed by any agency of the government..." To the shredder it goes. ;)
This is a scam I got the letter in the mail today 4-17-17 I am throwing it away. 1 st red flag envelope says not a government agency 2 when you call you can't speak to anyone and 3 nothing about my business is really stated just asking for a check.
