Same here a month ago was Marshall office calling ,phone number202-239-2474.Yesterday Lisa office from a Treasury department that my address is under investigation the number 202-750-1631, then same Indian guy from number before leaving messages.do not respond just add your number in 800 do not call list.
The person claimed to be from IRS department of investigation, saying that I owes government of about $2,900. He said that I need pay this money immediately - otherwise I would be arrested.
He wants us to send some money from our debit card.
I did not send the money, saying that I did not have a debit card (which is true). He claims that he would call me back tomorrow.
