I rec'd email regarding arrest warrant for money laundering; when I call the person had a very thick accent and I was transferred three times to people in the office but I did get a name of someone named Jack. Key questions I asked and I haven't gotten any answers...1. what the warrant for (answer: for a loan, 26 counts against my name, writing bad checks (don't own any checks and loan was taken out in 2011) 2. who the party is (never got answer) 3. the person on phone was eager to settle the "loan". Bottom line is that I felt that I was being threaten for a crime that I never committed in my life...my next action to have the police look into this matter.

You're being called by a scammer - please print up this thread and give to your HR Dept and/or manager.  You and your employer can and should report the caller to the FTC, FBI and your state's Attorney General.  More info on this scam here:

I received a call from a Adam Garcia then he emailed me saying he was going to issue out a warrant if I didn't comply from a loan that I supposively taken.  Come to find out he was trying to get money from me from and my bank information.  I didn't even know what to think or say.
