I just got a call from someone who said that they were from the U.S. Treasury Department.  they asked for my husband's social security number and I asked him why. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed to call their supervisor from a special number. I told them to take me off your list and to not call me back again. 30 seconds later they called again and my husband answered they then proceeded to ask for his social security number again. My husband said this was a scam and to not call back. They called again and we told them that if they call this again that we will report them. They even threatened us and said we will call you back 2000 times if we have to....... go ahead and report us.  I hope they dont call back and threaten me.

Called my office told my boss I was in trouble and that If I didn't call them back the police were coming to get me!

A MIKE STATING THAT HE IS FROM THE US TREASURY LEFT A VOICE MESSAGE YESTERDAY.  I CALLED THE NUMBER RECORDED ON MY CALLER ID CAUSE I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND A DAMN THING HE SAID.  SPOKE TO DANIEL ASKING FOR MY ATTORNEYS NAME.  STATED THAT I OWED TAXES FROM 2008 & 2009 AND THAT IT WAS PROBABLY THE ACCOUNTANT WHO MADE THE MISTAKE AND THAT I ONLY PAID A PORTION AND NEGLECTED TO PAY THE BALANCE.  DANIEL STATED A LETTER WAS MAILED THREE WEEKS AGO.  LIE #1 NO LETTER WAS EVER MAILED.  HE WAS THREATENING ME STATING THAT THERE WAS A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST AND THE A SHERIFF WAS COMING TO ARREST ME IN HALF HOUR.  I ASKED HIM SEVERAL TIMES HOW MUCH YOU CLAIM I OWED THE SO CALLED US TREASURY AND THAT I WAS WILLING TO PAY.  HE FINALLY STATED THAT I OWED $2,000.00.  I ASSISTANT WHO WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME STATED OUT LOUD THAT THIS IS A SCAM.  NO ONE FROM THE US TREASURY HAVE THE TIME TO CALL.  THEY ALWAYS SEND OUT NOTICES.  THIS WAS ANNOUNCED ON THE NEWS.  SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF PEOPLE CALLING CLAIMING TO BE FROM THE US TREASURY AND THREATENING TO SEND A SHERIFF OUT FOR YOUR ARREST.  ONCE WE TOLD MIKE THIS THE LINE WENT DEAD.  DANIEL TRIED TO SCARE US BUT HE WAS THE ONE FOR HUNG UP.
