I rec'd a call, no message left so I called back.....it was for a reward redemption...$100 for Walmart. I listened and of course, they want a $4.95 processing fee. I told them no thanks....I didn't want to give my CC over the phone. He told me this was the 21st century and all calls are recorded so its VERY safe..........yeah, right!! I told him once again, no thanks...I don't even shop at Walmart and hung up

This is the type of call I like to play with... You could have taken them for a ride! :)
Just play dumb like you believe them but then you give them false info so they waste time like we do.
You start giving them a card number then say "can you please give me a larger amount gift card or additional cards for sisters brothers. of for other stores, and you will send them back to their home address!
If it was female you could have asked if married and what are you wearing and breathing heavy into your phone.
Tell them what you had for dinner! etc..
Or start giving them a card number then say "oh theirs my door bell it's a pizza I ordered, I need to answer the door. can you hold a minuet... but never return to the phone.
So have fun with it!
If more people did this kind of thing I think it would deter some of these idiots from calling at all!
I love this website. It has been so helpful since I get so many unknown calls on the phone. I now respond to unknown calls with a search of this website. Thank you for all the posts!
