Got a call at 8 last night. Caller ID read, "Teletown Hall," but it was a one-ring, signifying that my phone provider's algorithms identified the caller as anonymous.
Given that it is a 202 Area Code and the presidential political season is heating up, I infer that this is a political call, probably for one of the two TEA Party-sympathizing/pandering senators from my state.
Keeps calling my work number, leaves a recorded voicemail stating they're from some government agency and want to invite me to a meeting at the "town hall". Deleted message half way through listening to it.
I received a call from this number. It was from my congressman (NJ) who was having a telephone town hall meeting. I actually was going to participate, but it switched off before I could connect.
