A message from "David Brown" Federal Officer with the Department of the Treasury, Badge Number 29017. David was obviously calling from a sweat shop, and had a heavy Indian accent. When I pressed him on how he obtained my phone number, he hung up on me. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!
Called them back 3 times. Asked why I kept calling because I was unable to provide a case number. Total scam of either the IRS or Grant variety. Block this number if you receive a call from it. I think they may have IP blocked me :)
OMG usually these people are annoying but today they made me laugh when they said if I chose to ignore them, they wished me luck as the situation unfolded. So dramatic.
