KM & Chris: There are many who read these posts when receiving such calls. If the data is already stated being
redundant makes no sense. I do leave msgs when I get suspicious calls and let peeps know. Yes many more should
be checking this sight. These calls using the telephone go to "conditioned response people" who just can't leave the phone alone. IF someone really knows you and wishes to speak with you the caller will leave a VM. Otherwise /ig the calls that don't validate their call to your phone. Also these calls are placed by robocall devices to a bank of numbers at one entry and there is no heed to DNC or other registries. Calls come in on my business/home phone all the time so I know I have to be vigilant about watching incoming calls.
I got a call this morning at about 10AM, saying that this is a survey by AARP. I was asked to give my opinion on three questions relating to Social Security. I did so and was asked if I wanted to hear the opinion poll of others. I did not but was asked if I would allow the poll results be emailed to me. I gave my email address. That is the only personal info that I gave.
Caller urged me to vote to keep North Little Rock electrical service as part of Sherwood Arkansas. Read a script and missed half the words. WTH does this have to do with DC? When I asked him about it he hung up. Called back and got busy signal.
