Who called from 2028303409

Received the following message on my answering machine, transcribed word-for-word :

“This is Mrs. Russell.  I'm calling in regards to supply charges on your electric account — be sure to give me a call back at 202-830-3409.
Have a copy of your statement with you to review and apply your reduced supply benefit. Um, your reference number is E as in echo 009234.”

What a laughable, pathetic scam !!!  I live in a high-rise condominium, and the condominium association receives ONE electric bill for the entire building.  Our monthly condominium fee includes all utilities, so I have never received an electric bill in the 34 years that I have lived here !!!

THIS IS A FRAUDULENT SCAM.  DO NOT PICK UP YOUR PHONE IF YOU ARE SCREENING CALLS AND DO NOT RETURN THIS CALL EVER !!!

Received a call with exactly the same message as above - from "Mrs. Russell," even with same reference number "E as in 'echo'...!"

Mrs Russell has been busy.
