This number has called repeatedly over the last few weks, and when I finally did answer it was a recorded message saying they could help with our tax deby - only problem there is we have no tax debt. They ask you to press one for an operator from "Tax Services" but do not give you a number to press to be removed from their call lists. The last time they called I pressed 1 and the fellow from Tax Services, when I asked to be put on their do not call list, hung up on me very loudly.
The robo call portion said that it was notification that my "case with the IRS would be moved to collections" if I did not take action. I have no case with the IRS. And if I did, they would send a letter stating such a thing for documentation purposes. I'm so sick of these scams. And our government has done NOTHING to limit them or regulate it. I'm tired of reporting incidents to my state's attorney general. It's a waste of time.
