got a recorded message saying that this was the last attempt before the IRS sues me (wish it was the last attempt as this is the third time they claim that and it is a robot voice not a human) they say to call 202-864-1278 but when i did a star 69 on it the number that comes up is actually 518-407-5980 total crooks
I got a call from this number and the Indian lady was telling me that I owe IRS $5K for unpaid taxes.
I called the police and have been told that this is a scam.
Don't fall for it.

A guy with very heavy Indian accent claimed to be the head person for IRS audit department. He named himself Mack Smith with a bogus badge #. He wanted $5000 in cash to pay off W-2 miscalculation that was audited. Once I got the cash he was going to give further instruction to take the money to a certain store?????????
