Person stated we needed to call this number immediately because we had committed fraud on our taxes and it had to be taken care of now. Did not answer, let it go to voicemail
Never believe a call from the IRS. This guy that was on the phone spoke English poorly, and the IRS only communicates through official mail. If you are in real trouble with the government you will either get a certified letter or get served a summons to federal court in person by a sheriff or an agent.
