Text to my cell phone said "You have just won a free $1000 Walmart Gift Card, enter "Mart" at http://promodaygiveaway.com/walmart". Figured it was a scam and looking at the messages on-line it seems to be. There are no reports yet about the phone number 202-957-1791 so must be a new scammer.
3/04/2012, received the same text. My husband received a text at aprox. 2:30AM 3/03/12 on his phone that said"I want a Walmart gift card."Bothers me because I took the time to register my cell to "Opt Out." Don't even shop at Walmart. What am I suppose to do to make it stop??
At least you got to the web site. I kept getting the "cannot display this page" crap and then I looked into this site and was really dissappointed. I never win anything and this is no different. Should of known. Thanks for the info. They always say if it sounds too good to be true...it usually is.

Seems to be fake. The promo code is too generic and the form asks you form you information after you enter the code. Its a lead capture and you will probably have to sign up for other bogus stuff to get the gift. I would avoid.
