Need to contact political representative to tighten up laws regarding telephone auto dialers.

I live in the UK and just received a telephone call from Four Vacation and I spoke to approx 3 different people and the so called Promotions Director Anthony.  He stated I had won an all inclusive holiday to Cancun, Florida and Datona Beach including VIP tickets to Disney and even vouchers for casino.  I asked what competition I had entered in order to have won this holiday and was told that this was in conjunction with VISA and Mastercard and they just needed my credit card details to confirm that I have a valid card.  I suggested that this sounded too good to be true and was told that my call was being recorded and this would be held by my bank for future reference, this made me more suspicious as I wondered how they could have my bank details.  I was asked to visit their website to confirm that they where a genuine company and I am awaiting a return call from Anthony (don't hold out much hope) and of course I could not find a website, just hundreds of suspicious people warning of the scam.  Of course I would never give my card details to anyone calling as they could be just that ANYBODY!!!  I also doubt if I will receive my holiday pack by courier as promised within the next 7 days!!!!  I am concerned that this guy did know alot of my details and by the way the telephone number I was given for the company was 0870 479 1812

received a call at home that my daughter answered,they asked for either me or my partner, who were not in, so they stated that she had won a holiday of a lifetime to Mexico, florida all paid, they asked for credit card details, when she refused they said that they had all her details already and that she just needed to confirm, they were on the phone for 20 mins before giving up. however they rang her again to try, she asked to speak to the manager, who came on the phone and verbally abused her, using foul language, and this is to a tennager! she was very upset and i have now contacted the police, these people have no morals and need to get of their bums and earn a decent living like most people.
