Ive had about 6 calls of them today and every other day this week, its totally pissing me off as ive tried adding the number to my reject list and I cant seem to block them. I called o2 to report it and they have advised me not to answer as its probably a scam.
I left the original complaint about this number and am intrigued by the rapid pickup. May I ask a) whether it is only O2 numbers that are being targetted? b) how anyone else blocks individual numbers on their handsets? Many thanks
Alex - I'm on 3 Mobile, and also receiving these calls. 6 yesterday, one today so far (currently 9:17AM). I haven't answered any so far, but they're still damn annoying and persistent.
Had 3 missed calls from this number throughout the day yesterday (27.01.2011), I was too busy to pick up. Now had another missed call today (28.01.2011). I was going to answer but thought the +20 bit was weird. Plus I'm always of the opinion that if its important they'll leave a message. Thought I'd check on here, pleased I did.
I'm T-Mobile so not an O2 exclusive scam. I run my own business and this is the work number. So it is in the yellow pages though and online business listings.
I have also been getting calls from this number, on vodafone, all week, Answered one and they claim to be from british gas electric dept, sounds like a call centre out of slumdog millionaire. This is a business mobile which has the number advertised in yellow pages ? Just a shame both british gas and vodafone dont want to know about it when i contacted them........... up to now i must have rjected over 30 calls from +203 106 1770 and getting more frustrated
