This number called me twice today. I didn't answer the first call, and they left no message. When I answered the second call, a foreign man (sounded Indian) asked for me by name, and then claimed to be with the US government and said that I was randomly chosen to receive a grant of $7,000. When I mentioned that I was on the "do not call" registry, he started to argue with me ("Well, how are companies supposed to know when someone is on a do not call list, and this isn't a company call anyway", etc.). But we all know that the federal government doesn't operate that way. I told them not to contact me anymore and hung up. However, I've received the same kind of calls from different numbers, usually each one calls twice a day. They never leave a message. I want them to stop calling me.
