Multiple calls. Something to do with a service contract for my car. The all have heavy foreign accents. Seems like a scam but I didn't stay on long enough to be certain. They DO NOT respect requests to take me off their list.
They called me today, I answered since it was an in-state number. The guy was hard to understand, he said something about a service contract for my car. I humored him, & told him how many miles were on my car, then he said he'd have to transfer me to someone else. Someone else picked up the phone, asked me the same question, then that was it. I just heard silence, & the call was still going. I hung up, & dialed the number back later, and got a recording that it wasn't a valid phone number.?
I am sure this is annoying to most people, but I never answer a call from a number that is unknown to me. Obviously if the call is of any importance they will leave a message. In addition, if the number is unknown to you it probably isn't anyone you want to talk to anyhow.
