This is a new number being used by "Breast Cancer Am" (I think it's AMERICA). They also use 203-528-0799. Call got through and wife answered. Soliciting money, but I had checked them on the Internet (charityNavigator.com) and the are not listed. Scam. Wife hung up after 15 seconds.
This number and the Caller ID name "Breast Cancer, American" are NOT registered in Charity Navigator, which covers all charities. They are NOT legitimate and WILL SCAM YOU out of your money. Don't answer. Call your State Dept. of Consumer Protection or Consumer Affairs ans report them. They are ripping off the charities that really do help women with breast cancer - that is criminal.
Calls non-stop and has the audacity to address me as though we know each other, noting how "difficult" it's been to reach me. What I KNOW is this is a scam and the only reaching is my wanting to grab their nethers and squeeze. Repulsive and intrusive hemorrhoids!
