Just got another phone call again thi morning just right after i yelled at them last night and said no more phone calls,can they be that stupid I mean what part of nophone calls dont these people understand so annoying i am so sickof this schitt
Comes up as "CHOICE" on the Id. Telemarketers trying to get you to change your electric bill to them! Called twice today and the 2nd time I was able to answer and told them don't call me anymore.
I didn't realize the number and answered and they said they were calling from PSEG and that they have a program to give us lower rates on our electric company. Asked me for the PSEG account number but the one on the last page that says POD ID and then a huge number after it. After that, they confirm your name, address and then you go through this verification system to approve. Which they state they'll send you the terms and conditions. I then contacted PSEG headquarters myself and they explained not to worry because what they try doing is switching your account to their company. However, they can't because the minute PSEG gets a call from them stating we want to switch, they alert us IMMEDIATELY and we cancel it.
My township recently changed our energy provider. The phone calls from these BLANKERS have escalated even though they've been advised by our former provider to cease and desists. Once they have your name and number they will call incessantly because they don't abide by the do not call registry. This in and of itself makes it clear that they are NOT reputable. If the company says they're your provider, they have all the info they need and wouldn't be asking for your account number. Do not believe them and don't change unless you investigate the company first and choose to do so.
