Yep, this is the Fake Microsoft phone call where they tell you your computers software is not a licensed copy. Then proceed to instruct you to give them access to your system so they can fix it. More like... gain access in order to put hidden tracking and keystroke software on your machine so they can steal your information, use your system as a IP farm to help re-route traffic so their IP address can't be traced for hacking etcc... Don't fall for this people. Be smart. Microsoft, Google, Adobe etcc will NEVER EVER call you or your cell phone. from a tracking search I found out they are a company called: Pembroke Assoc is located in Fairfield, Connecticut. Owned by: Domenic J Champa, some caller ID's will show: Deborah Champa, Dorothy Champaign... Don't be fooled, Its all the same scammera.

Be aware that you may have just falsely accused innocent people by posting a name and address of the alleged phone subscribers.

Scammers use the technique of spoofing caller ID information all the time, sometimes using invalid phone numbers, sometimes using real phone numbers of innocent people. By claiming these people are committing illegal activity, you could be accused of libel.

How would you like if it your number got spoofed by a scammer and some well meaning citizen "investigated" and posted your name and address and accused you of being a scammer? That could very well be what you have just done.

Joey is correct. The number/names you've listed may very well be legitimate listings. Scammers use Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) to spoof, or create false locations/name, using legitimate phone numbers to call you. The phone companies or the feds have no way to trace these calls.
Many well-known companies and charitable organizations have had their numbers hijacked by scammers in attempts to scam unsuspecting people. Just hang up; most legitimate companies now use the mail for solicitations.

Yes they called me too. Since I knew it was a scam I played along since I was just driving with nothing to do. Acted like I was the dumb American they are hoping to get. Then pretended like I was having trouble with his directions. He got frustrated and put his "supervisor" on the phone who preceded to get mad at me for wasting his time by not understanding their directions. This is when I lost my cool too and told him a little bit about the wasting of time. I told him not to call my number anymore and he should go out and get an honest job and I was reporting them. I then hung up and the guy called me back to call me all the typical bad words he knew in English. I then called him some and hung up and blocked their number. Just ridiculous and sad because they must get people who believe them and give them access to their computer or they would not be doing this. It is my personal crusade to make these people's lives miserable until they stop doing this.
