There are numbers of FREE program out there can protect your computer. Why would anyone want to pay this a**hole hundred or thousand of dollars for a program which monitor your online activity 24/7?
A woman with a very poor grasp of the English language called me last night.
Started to tell me my computer was sending them reports it was infected.
I said ""what''? She went through the whole spiel again.
I said ''I don't even have a computer, what kind of scam are you trying to pull here''?
There was silence on the other end...then..click!!!
Sometimes I will just put the phone down and walk away for a while..
Very annoying.
An East Indian man has called from this number - 203-286-9239 - several times now, each time telling me that there is an error being reported from my windows operating system. He never provides a name or the company he is calling from. Last time I informed him that my computer wasn't even on, and he suggested that I go turn it on so he could walk me through the changes I needed to make !!. When I hung up on him, he called back and said we somehow got disconnected, and I said, no, we were disconnected because I hung up !! Each time he calls it's the same story. So tired of it.
Called on the 24th and on the 31th same old story, had lots of these call in the past 2 years.
I asked him if he was a scammer trying to con me. he did try really hard to convince me he was
really from MS, but I know very well what their game is, check it out on YouTube, and Google it
