Left an incomprehensible voice mail, but did not identify themselves. This was after I called them back. Then they called me back as I was sitting at my computer, I picked up the phone and greeted them. When they realized they had someone on the line, they immediately hung-up.
i just received a call from this number saying that they were going to send me a bomb. who is this number from does anyone know because i would like to see who they are.
calls are easy to stop .. just answer the phone like you're an uneducated few bucks hour know nothing in some rundown business .. any calls I don't recognize I just answer with one word, "recycling" .. no matter what they say I just respond the first few questions with "recycling" .. then respond "recycling center .. what'cha want??" .. then after a few questions more I respond "hey tell me who you are and who you want and a number and I'll put it on the bulletin board and maybe somebody will know what you're talking about" .. to anything else they say just respond with "ok if you don't wanna do nuthin then bye" and hang up .. they generally get frustrated and never call back more than twice .. plus it's fun to string them along :) .. good luck
When I answered my land line phone today, there was silence on the other end. A few seconds later the recorded words stated, "Good Bye." I have had a similar call from this number recently. These calls are a nuisance and should be stopped by authorities.under federal law.
Repeat calls several times a day asking if I am interested in herbal vitamins. I say I'm not interested & they end the call.. the next day I get several more calls.. this time I tell the person I am reporting the number as harassment.. again the person on that end of the line hangs up.. if you ask for a manager or supervisor the person hangs up.. THESE CALL NEED TO STOP..
Thank you all for the information. I have been keeping a list of these scammer calls. I got a call from this number for the first time a little while ago. I didn't answer and no message was left. I too am on the DO NOT CALL registry for all the good it does. I do file complaints with the Do Not Call Registry. I am guess just another reminder it is a government agency and nothing else in the government works so how can we expect the Do Not Call Registry to work.
