I receive 4-5 calls a week from Charter Comm. I never asked for service. The message states that a service person will arrive tomorrow. I've returned the call to let them know I don't have/want their service, and, they do not provide service in my city. The calls keep coming. I've now registered my phone in the do not call registery. If this doesn't help, I will send complaints to BBB (Charter is a member).
I answered the call. It was a live person asking about my recent install. I actually had a couple of problems, and she asked if I would like tech support. She transferred my call, and I explained the problems to the tech. He put me on hold, and then the phone started ringing and was answered by a vet's office. I tried calling Charter back, but it is just a busy signal.
I got a call from this number, as we just added charter 'bundle' (of lies)
to our cable & internet. As I told the caller the discrepency of the bill we received, vs. the contract with promised savings, she put me on HOLD for 5 minutes and 30 seconds, when I just hung up. Haven't heard from her again. This just adds to unexpected charges Charter has added to our bill for the last time. We quit! There has GOT to be a better way to do business.
