Called me when I didn't have good service, I called back. A middle eastern guy named "mike" claimed he was IRS. Asked my name. So I asked for his ID number. He said he needed my id first. Then proseeded to ask my name and if I had a lawyer. I told him I was one myself and would call him back on their known number of he would give me his Id number. He cursed me and hung up.
I didn't answer but they left a message. It was a recorded message claiming to be the IRS. Asking to call back urgently. Of course, the message doesn't says what that "IRS" stands for. Scam! I read that scammers are using this kind of calls to confirm phone numbers and then make international calls charged to your phone number.
