Blocking does not work. I use to block but all that does is tell them they reached a valid number. Used to get 50 different calls a month. Since I stopped blocking AND not picking up unless I recognize the number, I get 4 or 5 calls. They can call all the want .... don't care. If they were legit they'd leave a msg.
picking up and hanging up tells them its a real number but going to VM doesn't? Logic seems flawed. I pick-up and hang up if I don't know the number. Number of calls varies from 1 or two per week to 6 or seven per week. Occasionally I will try to get to a live person to yank their chain for a while. Not worth jacking up my blood pressure over.
Solar on the caller ID; since we do business with a local company with a similar name, I answered it. Dead air and then a voice sai "hello". The dead air being a giveaway, I hung up and came here.
