Got a call today from a girl name Ana with an Indian accent claiming she is from IRS invesrigation Dept and said there is a warrant of arrest on me. Another girl name Eva Adam claiming to be Ana's Supervisor said if I hang up the phone they will send the police to arrest me. These idiots should be in jail. I am almost 60 yrs old and have heart problems. Almost called 911 because I couldn't breath and was having chest pains. I do not owe IRS. These people should be punish. My husband called the number but voice mail picked up saying "we are currently unavailable, leave your number"

They should at least hide their number. 203 is a CT area code and IRS isn'tbe located in CT.
But they did a great job for first 15 minutes. I was totally scared and panicking. Even after I found out it was a scam, googling the number while on the phone, I still pretended to be heading to bank, while I was driving to police station, because you never know. After police officer told me to just hang up, I could finally breathe.
When it was coming toward the end, it wasn't very hard to tell the call was a scam. Maybe they should practice more.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
