Kelly is phone-caller name. Said she was with Creative Marketing. As soon as I informed them I don't sign up for such "rewards" and that I would like to be placed on the "do not call' list, she hung up.
I got a call from the same number and have blocked it. I am on the no-call list (the call came to my cell) and have received at least two dozen calls from different numbers in the past couple of months that always were disconnected phone numbers at Verizon. This is a scam of some kind but I haven't figured out yet what it is. Verizon thinks it is a marketing company that is testing phone numbers that can be used that won't be tracked. Drug dealers, perhaps? I have a record of all the blocked calls in case some agency needs them.
If you have an iPhone go to your "recent" callers list and click on the "I" (the small case letter "eye") and one of the choices is to block that phone number. I have had to do it about two dozen times in the past couple of months. The calls come from all over but are centered in AL, CA, OR and WA.
