They are either shady chimney people wanting to scam you out of money or some other shady thing altogether. They have a bogus website, and they spoof this phone number - this number is actually disconnected. For reasons I won't go into here, I believe they are not even shady chimney sweeps but something far worse - they have a certain level of tech sophistication I won't go into that suggests that. They also call people on the do not call list
H & R Chimney calling with an Old Greenwich phone number, located in Cheshire. Lady claims that they are in the neighborhood. Never seen them around! Blocked!
H&R Chimney who says they will be in our area. Scam. Faked CID shows 2033440265, instead of name. I asked why she was faking a CID. She said I was the first person who ever mentioned that. Scam.
Cheshire here . I think these people might be casing houses. They keep calling whether you demand to be off their list or not. They are doing in depth research to get unlisted, super obscure secondary cell numbers and they start calling those too. They change from one bogus spoofed CID to another.
