Talked to two women and a guy from this number today. First call was "windows technical department", next was "microsofts technical officer", and the third was a plain old technician from Microsoft.
Apparently my computer has "the virus". I told him is didn't have a computer, and he was very confused.
Have received 2 calls already today and multiple calls every day. Comes up as 44-203-344-4874. Am assuming 44 is international dialing #. Do NOT try calling to see who it is. I tried it and had to do 2 hard shutdowns to get my laptop back. Rest of # comes from Connecticut then routed out to California.
Got a call at 6 AM this morning. Lady with an East Indian accent said she was the computer tech for my computer(guess we all have are own) Told her it was 6am called her a few unpleasant names she hung up.
I've been getting these anoying phone calls too from 44-203-344-4874. I can hear a back noise and it hangs up on me, since last past few days, always around the same time in the morning, 8h30 am. I lift the phone and hang up. It calls back ... GRRR !!! Man, do I ever get frustrated. Thanks for you guys info. What a bummer ...
