unknown repeated calls

call and hang up

Received a call on my office line.  They called and hung up.  Wish I could block them, based on what I am reading here.  Thanks for the feedback everybody...  :-(

Consider hanging up on suspect if you can. If it's a real caller, they will try again. Robodialers don't.

called just when it seemed like t heir machine was broken......"Hello?"
click.....gone
so I called it back and was told  if you want to be placed on the "do not call" list press 1.
I hung up
I don't get it, why waste everyones time and their money if you're not going to say anything?
