I RECEIVE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ALL THE TIME. I FOR ONE AM ATTEMPTING TO REPORT IT TO THE FCC. IF EVERYONE WOULD DO THIS WE MAY GET SOMETHING DONE. THIS CONSTITUTES FRAUD
I get this phone number every day with no message left and, I called the number, I get the following Message: "The Numer You Have Reach is not in Service. This is a Recording".
Then followed by repeated beeps.
I just received a call, did not answer. I was born and raised in CT. This looks like a cell prefix to me. I just left the state 3 years ago for AZ. Connecticut is a small state, natives usually recognize most of the phone prefix numbers. For a very long time we only had 1 area code. Then went to 2. On my Verizon iPhone 4, spoofed calls appear in the caller I.D. as CT, USA. A normal call will display the city and state. I'm not wasting my time with this crap when I'm waiting for legitimate calls. We have to protect and help ourselves, the gov. is not going to stop this epidemic of spoofing, scams, and ripoffs. It does not matter how many lists you register for.
