Just received a call from this number on my cell phone saying that a friend was in an accident and listed me as a contact. I told him I know this is a scam and hung up. So annoying!
Guy tried tell my mom that I . Owed him 2k saying that he will kill me if she didn't pay up guy was Spanish sounded like a Puerto Rican male he knew my name and my mothers I called back spoke to him told him I ow no one money and to [***] he hung up
Received a call from this number at 5am in the morning. Call was from male with an accent, couldn't quite place it. He said he got my number through someone else because I had a relative in the San Diego area that had been in accident. When I asked for the relative's name he couldn't give me one. I told him never to call me again with this bull****! He hung up
I received a call from this number at about 8 am. Male with a thick accent. Says I have a family member who got into a car accident, wrecked someone's car, and is being held hostage for the damages. I began to freak out! I decided to use someone else's phone to call the family member they were supposedly holding hostage. She was safe at home! So I hung up on the fake kidnapper. Please do not entertain this madness. I almost fell for it. Welp all is well that ends well.
The same [***] called me yesterday afternoon. I didn't fall for it. He hung up. I sent him some pretty nasty messages. Hope they find out who this [***] hole is and gets placed where he belongs. I hope no one has fallen for this scam
