I just received a disturbing telephone call, asking if I wanted to continue advertising in a “book” I have never heard of called Yellow Blue Media. The price is $750 for the next year and says they are sending me an invoice for the past year of $750. I have never heard of, placed an order with, or spoken to anyone about spending $750 for my own advertising in or outside Connecticut in a so-called directory. This is a total scam and I made it clear that those are the facts. It is more than a gimmick. It is against the law to try to pull off such a scam. I am writing to your office to let you know about this situation. There may be hundreds of others being put in his situation and ending up arguing with some fast talking salesman, who insists that his company will bill me (for something I have never purchased or heard of). Finally, I told him what to do with his invoice and that I was hanging the phone up. Obviously, I got upset at his lying persistence and made it clear that this is a scam and I won’t be taken in by it. I would ask you to look into Yellow Blue Media.com and possibly set them straight. I also have the no-call feature, which is supposed to stop random sales calls like this. Please let me hear from you at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time.
