Got a call saying he was from the Federal Gov't in Washington DC. He said I'm being awarded $9000. I told him that it's strange that they wouldn't offer a less privileged person, and I'm not in need of it. I then hung up.
Called again. A woman with an Indian accent claimed to be "Nancy" from the "United States Federal Government Grant Department". I said I'd never heard of such a department. She said I would receive a grant of $9000 that I would not have to pay back. I told her to put me on their do not call list, which of course she could do, being from the government and all, and she said she was not the right person. I said she was was the right person, and that if she refused to put me on her list she was in violation of US Federal Communications Commission regulations. She said, and I quote, "No, no, no. We will continue to call you, and until then cry," and hung up. Fun!
