Keep getting calls referencing action against me by the United States Treasury. I finally got tired of calls and called the number. It was answered by a man named James Gray (the message said David Gray). He started talking about past years filed taxes. I challenged him and hung up. I owe no taxes.
they call 2-3 times a daymore than half the time they dont answer nobody there, my wife says thats its a recording stating that it the IRS and if you dont call a number you well go to jail. how do i get red of them or report it to authorities
Don't play their game by answering the phone. Odds are this number's a dummy so you can't do anything with it other than not answer and allow messages. As long as they get an answering machine, you're still open for business. Ignore unknown numbers and you'll likely see a drop in the amount of worthless calls you get. Just give it time and let that phone ring.
