However, caller ID is for Waterbury, CT, instead of the company name, she refused to tell me the company name. Called the number back - troll I spoke to said the company is called "Smart Shoppers", and that they are located in Phoenix, AZ. Internet search tells that "Smart Shoppers" in "Phoenix, AZ" is a scam call center, offering Target & Walmart gift cards for "free", provided you give them a credit card number for "processing fees", and accept 3-4 other offers, among other scams. This is all an effort to get your CC number and your voice on record saying "yes", which is all they need to set up recurring charges on your card & bleed you dry!
