Got a similar Robo call and followed the prompts... claiming to want my business phone to claim my Google plus listing, when i told the guy i did not have a business he got pissed and said that I should have told him that in the beginning, Yes, he got upset that i was wasting his time... It happens that i work in the online industry - Not for Google- but my company works with them closely, when I told him that he hung up on me, almost before I got he words out of my mouth...
Bottom line this is some one trolling for business listings to build a list of business #s to sell to telemarketers... I would venture to guess that this has no connection to google
I was on another call when this number tried to call me. I have caller ID & I was unable to take the call so I ignored it. But I was waiting for a call from Home Depot to do a kitchen measure so I assumed it was them trying to call so I dialed it and got a recording "If you would like to be placed on a do not call list, please press 1 now"… Like a fool, I pressed "1"….Now what will happen, I have no clue but I think I should not have done that because here I am after imputting that number on a google search!
