This is spam, something about a green study survey and then you get entered to win a trip to the Bahamas. Pre-recorded. I registered with the National Do not call registry and I can see how effective that was. Smh.
I work in the 203 area code where this number is based, barring any spoofing or anything. They got me at work because I stupidly just looked at the area code on my caller ID and not the whole number before I picked it up. Told me they were from my credit card company and wanted to know if I would like to lower my rate. Playing along I asked which credit card company they were from and the person responded "yours, do you want to lower your rate or not?" I told them I'd call them back at the number listed on my credit card and they asked which card it was because "different cards have different numbers"...I responded "yours." It took them a minute to understand I was messing with them. They were screaming as I hung up the phone. Definite scam.
