Blocked. Called, left no message. They call from different states, but it is the same information every time I look up one of the numbers..."Your small business has been approved for a loan." I don't have a business at all. Guess they call from different locations to prevent you from stopping their calls.
Phishing for active phone numbers. Recording asks if you would like to be placed on their "Do not call list." Do that and you will be inundated with annoying robo calls.
I receive at least one call per day from some random number across the United States. There is never anyone on the line. I don't hear a recording or anything else.
I get about 5 calls a day from numbers like this with the +1 prefix. I never answer a call that doesn't have a name of someone on my contact list. Even if it is a local call I don't answer without a name. If it was an important call they could leave a message. Many of the local calls are just phones that are prepay minutes phones. You really don't know who the caller is but I'm sure they are all bull [***].
