Received threatening message from 2036106492 with a case number indicating this was their 3rd and final attempt at contacting me. I did not call back. I have not received a call from this number previously but did receive a call from 8037281738 both leaving the same case number as a reference. A Mr. Blackwell was referenced in the call from "Processing & Summons" division. I have fallen prey to these scams before but do not see the 2036106492 number reported anywhere. Has anyone else received this type of followup call? They are threatening to contact my employer and serve summons at my place of employment.
Yes I just received anotyher call from these people. I blocked out the other 2 numbers and somehow they get through. I have filed a report with the FTC. I am getting the same message that you are.
Yeah, same thing here. They called last week from a 803 number, same "case" number, same voice, etc. I'm guessing enough people complained about their 803 number so they had to get another one. Same story as yours, had my last name right, first name wrong, from a "processing and summons division". They are just trying to scare people into giving them information (likely to steal your id) and trying to scam people out of money. These people are the lowest of the low, and I hope they all rot in hell.
