"Attention all Americans" is how it begins. They offer to restructure debt. They do not give a name or contact information for the company, but say to press 1 for an agent or 2 to be removed from their list (I did neither). If you call the number back, you are answered with a recording that says to press 1 to be removed from list (I did not do this).
Same message! Why can't we get these calls stopped and these con-artists arrested. Marketing to cell phones is illegal.
Why are unidentified calls allowed on cell phones but we can stop them on land lines?
I just received a call form this number and it was playing the message like the one the original poster described. It said to press 1 to talk to an agent or 2 to be removed from their list. I pressed 1 and my cat meowed. I have no idea how they did that but it was creepy.
