This was a telemarketer trying go get me to switch my utility purchase. I told him that I only take personal calls on this line, and to take me off his call list. He went on to try to tell me more about the service he wanted to sell me. I told him that, "if I ask him to take me off his call list, that he is obligated by law to do so. He said, "I appreciate you trying to tell me the LAW today, but..." That is when I hung up.

We have caller ID and if we don't recognize the number we don't answer. They left no message. I see below that they are trying to get folks to change utility providers.
We are on a National Do Not Call list. Responsible companies will not call.
I answer the call but immediately activated the 'Mute' button and listened. A man said 'Hello' about three times, then hung up. If it is an attempt to get me to change utilities that can't be done in my area anyway even if I wanted to change, which I don't. What a bunch of losers! Caller ID displayed 'Branford, CT'.
