So far today I've received 18 calls from this phone number on my cell. I answered two of them since my son is traveling and may need to contact us and I also wanted to be sure it wasn't a work-related call. Only background noises and no one actually answering the phone. I have since blocked the number but my phone keeps a record of the "missed" calls. I called back twice and only got a machine that announced that the phone was yet to be assigned.
This number has called me at least TEN times today. I am at work and can't answer my phone. I was so annoyed I finally picked up and screamed that it was the wrong number. Who are these people and what do they want? Do they not understand that people work?
"Ashley" called to "ask me a few questions to determine what school and program is right for me." I asked if she had heard of the DO NOT CALL list, and she hung up. Caller ID says this number is "Academic Advisors." Very annoying, this is my second call from this number today. The first was a hang-up call.
My wife got a call from these people today and they told her that they were calling from an HR place about a job that she applied for and they wanted to make sure that they had all the correct information. When she questioned them and asked who they were and what job is she supposedly applied for they refused to tell her and then when she said that she had never applied for any jobs and she just wanted some information the lady started asking her about academic stuff and about going back to school. My wife then told them that she was enrolled in school already the lady hung up.
