This guy keeps calling my parents' house phone, insisting "they" want to come and clean her carpet for free. My Mom told him they don't have carpeting, so he offered to clean their upholstery for free, as a demonstration of their services. She wasn't interested, but he still keeps calling, pushing the carpet cleaning and annoying them. When I called the number back, to find out the company name, nobody answered the phone, and their isn't any voice mail either. I tried a few times. How could it be a cleaning service if nobody answers and you can't leave a message? Somebody else was getting calls from the same caller ID, but the phone number is different. It seems fishy.
I receive 3 to 5 calls per day on my cellphone from this number and 3 other extensions from the same company. They are a Kirby vacuum seller in Naugatuck, CT and annoying as heck at best. They have never left a message but call nearly everyday. Probably an auto dialer. If I had the time I would love to call them and put them on hold to tie up their phone lines.
I called Verizon and asked for this number to be blocked. They ended up having alternate phone numbers in which to continue to call and harass people. Does anyone know how to stop this? It is extremely annoying. They are telling me that they want to come and clean my carpeting for free.
