Caller showed up as Ruth Gerosa. The recorded message left said that {they} whoever they are, had been monitoring my credit card history and that due to my good CC standing that I now qualify for a 0% interest rate with them and if interested to press 1 and they would help me to consolidate all my CC's, with them of course, and that they would allow me to pay off all my CC balances through them with this >cough cough, 0% rate!!!!! Yeah right... They did not identify themselves (for good reasons, I'm sure) and even though I did not fall for this scam, I'm sure they would have wanted me to give them all my credit card account numbers so by tomorrow I would discover that they had maxed out my CC's and I would or should be responsible for the fraudulent charges, since I was stupid enough to believe a word they said... Boy, what people will sink to nowadays to rip someone off... I blocked the # but they will probably call later from a new one.
