I've been receiving a call from this number for a few months now on my cell phone. No one ever leaves a message. I will not answer the call because I don't recognize the number. This number is only given to friends and family or in case of an emergencies. I would call the number back and there is no answer. So I will not answer the call but I don't want them calling me anymore.
The caller said they were calling from the Kirby Company and addressed me by my first name. They mentioned the names of a couple and said they lived on a specific street (which I didn't recognize)and that they gave me a gift certificate. I said I didn't know the couple, and they wanted to know if I wanted to take advantage of the gift certificate anyway, and I said no thanks and hung up.

number called me and told me that someone gave me a free cleaning service and all i needed to give them was my address. when i asked for information they said "they couldn't tell me it was a surprise just give me your address" i responded no thanks and if someone left something for me, they should have given you my info and they would have told me about it, they hung up!
This caller asked for my husband who was on his cell phone at the time so I told the guy that he was unavailable. The guy asked if I knew of or heard of some guy's name because he referred our name for a free carpet cleaning. When I told him no and asked if I can take a message for my husband, he said he'd have to call back later. Something tells me, he may not be calling back. I guess this is there way around the "do not call" list.
