It's Choice Energy. Telemarket. The want to sell you cheap electric service. they are pretty rude about it when you say no. I sign up to buy electric from an enviromentaly friendly company. Choice Energy sell coal fired power. The dirtyist on the market. They were pretty rude about it
They called my cell phone. I called them on my landline, and they answered, "Choice Energy. How may I direct your call?" When I stated, "You called my cell phone. Do you know why?" Then there was total silence....
I just got a call from them its some energy company offering a 5% discount on your energy bill if you have CL&P as your energy provider. Its a shame I havent had them as my provider for the last 4 months
Here is some Info. that may help others...I was told by our Electric Co. ----
look at your bill for CURRENT SUPPLIER - YOU WLL SEE GENERATION CHARGE = price per KILOWAT (KwH) --- that is the charge we charge you.
I was told by our Electric Co. ---- you have a choice to select a different 'supplier' ---- and even in selecting a different 'supplier' ---- while the Kilowat charge will be different (i.e. if I find a lower per kilowat price) it will come thru via our Electric Co. bill - nothing else changes.
I was told - also - if you find a lower rate choose it ---
look in your Electric Bill envelopes --- not sure which months we rec'd this List of other suppliers - I'm going to look for it...too.
They are Choice Energy. Address is 715 East 2nd, Des Moines, IA, 50322. I asked to be taken off their call list and the rep did that while I was on the phone (or so he said).
I asked them several times to take me off their list however they keep calling everyday! The individual on the phone was rude, and said “you don’t like to save money” when I asked to be taken off the their list.
