These people call us every single day, multiple times a day telling us that our google listing is expiring. After asking their company name to look them up and confronting the sales person with all the bad reviews I found online she got defensive and rude. How can I get them to stop calling?
Got a call, wasn't from the 203 number but I went ahead with, they seemed legit even had a over the phone appointment scheduled to go over things even signed up for the citations program which is even more money, I was never signed up with google so I decied to do it and see if someone types in google and my company pops up on first page like they said. I just signed up couple of hours ago, and now I searched this and people saying its a scam is it a scam? They said it takes 5 to 6 business days to set up, so do I wait that many days too see if it works or should I try to cancel my payment with my bank/
They actually helped me claim and verify my listing which i had no idea how to do. I would wait because I actually have seen an increase in business since Ive paid for their service.
I know your post was a while back, but other people will be checking here with the same sort of question. This SEO schemes are pretty much scams. This number seems be associated with scams for certain. Do some reading and asking friends and colleagues who you trust and learn more about SEO plans and scams. As for the shills, if you see them here, that pretty much tells you it is scammers trying to do damage control. This happens all too often on this board.
