Who called from 2039899466

Called landline today. Left no message. My guess is that it's from a political advocacy group, but of course I don't know.

Called from "Veterns Support Foundation".
My guess is a scam.

Called my house at 15 min. before 9... we old folks are in bed then.  I didn't ans.

Called at 8:58 PM on Sunday - I let the machine pick up but they hung up.  What happened to the Do Not Call Registry?

If you had read all the words on the Do Not Call signup pages, you would have learned that the No Call list is limited to "legitimate telemarketers".  It specifically exempts charities, political callers, survey companies and businesses with which one has done business in the last 18 months.

Scammers ignore the list.  After all, criminals ignore laws, right?

Remember, the DNC list is NOT a call blocker!  If you want to block repeated calls from unwanted callers, get a call blocking app, device or service (Google is your friend).
