Really copper? If you knew anything about criminal practices you would know that these calls are from some hut in the regions of Pakistan or India and the number/location displayed on your caller ID is spoofed. Good luck in seeking your "legal consequences"!
Picked up and hung up immediately. I don't know anyone in Manitoba, nor do I do business with any companies in Manitoba. Maybe preventing calls like this one should be a #1 priority for Congress and the White House. Lock them up, deport them to a mosquito-infested island, and build a no-scammers-allowed wall (which they will pay for). Meanwhile, telephone and telecommunication companies should provide unlimited blocking at no cost to consumers.
